Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Lookups and reports. When you look up a ticker or run a report, we process the holdings you enter to produce your results. We keep anonymous usage statistics (for example, which tickers are looked up) that are not linked to you.
• When you unlock a full report. We collect your name, email address, optional phone number, how you heard about us, and a summary of the portfolio you screened (holdings, weights and results). We also record your consent choices, the page and campaign that brought you to the site, and technical information such as your browser type and a one-way hash of your IP address.
• When you send your report to an advisor. We collect the advisor's name and email address (or note which advisor you chose on Find an advisor) and keep a record of what we sent and when.
• When you search for an advisor. We use the ZIP code or city you enter to find the nearest advisors. We don't keep it with your name, and we don't use your device's location.
• When an advisor contacts us. If you're a financial advisor and fill in the form on For advisors, we collect your name, contact details, firm, location, CRD number, where your clients' accounts are, how much you expect to place in Magnificat portfolios, and anything else you tell us.
• Sensitive information. Using a Catholic values screener may indicate your religious beliefs. By unlocking a report you consent to our processing that information for the purposes below.

How we use it

• To produce your report and email you a summary of it.
• To send your report to the advisor you choose, when you ask us to, with a copy to you. Replies from the advisor go to you.
• To contact advisors who ask about using Magnificat Asset Management's portfolios.
• To follow up about your results and Magnificat Asset Management's services. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email.
• To call or text you only if you gave us a phone number and checked the box allowing it.
• To improve ScreenMyMoney and protect it from abuse.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run ScreenMyMoney (such as hosting and email delivery), under contracts that require them to protect it, with the advisor you ask us to send your report to, or when required by law. An advisor who receives your report is not part of Magnificat Asset Management unless they say so, and their own privacy practices apply to what they do with it.

Advisors listed on Find an advisor

The names, photos, firms and contact details of advisors on Find an advisor are published with their permission. An advisor can ask us to change or remove their listing at any time. An advisor who receives a report through ScreenMyMoney can stop all further reports with the link in that email.

Retention and security

We keep lead information for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet our recordkeeping obligations as a registered investment adviser, then delete it. Information is encrypted in transit, access is limited to authorized staff, and we maintain an incident response program.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by writing to 240-792-8180 · info@magnificatam.com. Residents of some states have additional rights, which we honor.

Cookies

The public site does not use advertising cookies. We store temporary settings in your browser for the current session only, such as the portfolio you are building and whether you have unlocked your report.

Children

ScreenMyMoney is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
